Concepts and presentation of visual strategy for a portal site to address designers (not a traditional microsoft audience) through leveraging their relationship with developers.
We needed to go back to first principles to gauge what general visual direction and audience weighting the client wanted to pursue.
The first four buttons (all from Microsoft sites) show the range of possible styles that were already available.
The last (rubber) was taken from apple.com
